Incheon Tiger Airways:

Incheon Tiger Airways was a planned low-cost airline to be based in Incheon, about 40 kilometres (25 miles) west of Seoul, Korea. Tiger Airways would have owned 49% of the carrier and the South Korean city of Incheon the rest. The project was scrapped in December 2008.

No official routes have been announced. Incheon Tiger Airways will start with five Airbus A320 planes and expects to fly on domestic routes as well as to destinations in Japan, China, Russia and Mongolia.

Tiger Airways intended to begin commercial service in late 2008 or early 2009.

Incheon Tiger Airways would have followed the business model of sister airline Tiger Airways, which is a low-cost airline which attempts to increase the total market size (number of passengers), control operating costs of the airline, and maximise the number of sectors served by its aircraft. It will keep cost low by avoiding expensive airports.

Online booking can be made at the official website of Incheon Tiger Airways - www.tigerairways.com
